Add videos (as a video “element”)

Videos can also be displayed in the book. In the mz3Viewer and the FLash version also directly on a book page.
In the Javascript version (still!) Opens its own window.

Set video parameters for JS

With a Javascript variant, the specific parameters can be set directly in the “Add Video Element” window.

Videos can play inside single or double pages; as long as the complete video box (preview image) fits into the single page, or in case of a double page is positioned either on the left or right half.
It must not be wider than a single page and not cross the fold in the middle of a double page.
Operation is very easy: As soon as above conditions are met, the “In Book Video” check box appears and the check box is pre-selected.

If the video is too wide or spans across the fold, that option disappears and the video will play in a separate window or tab (depending on the user’s preferences).
A video that “could” play within the book, can optionally be opened in a separate window/tab also.
For this simply delete un-check the box.

Video selection

How an element is selected is generally described in the “Add Elements” chapter:https://doc.megazine3.de/mz3tool.2.4.3.13.doc/en/topic/add-elements:

In the Add Video Element window, the browse icon! https://manula.r.sizr.io/large/user/14418/img/button-browse.png! clicked. The desired video is selected in the opening Explorer / Finder window and accepted with “Open”.
A new window opens (Select a Video Preview Image),
