also movies can be displayed in the book. In the mz3Viewer and the FLash version movies can span across the fold of the book, i.e. a movie can be placed anywhere on a double page and still be played on the page.
In the Javascript version only movies located completely within the borders of a single page can be shown within the book.
If a video in a Javascript version is placed over the fold in the middle of the book, it will be opened in a separate tab.

Set video parameters for JS

With a Javascript, the specific parameters can be set directly in the “Add Video Element” window.

Videos can play within single or double pages; as long as the complete video box (preview image) fits into the single page, or in case of a double page it is positioned either on the left or right half of the double page.
It must not be wider than a single page and not cross the fold in the middle of a double page.
Operation is very easy: As soon as above conditions are met, the “In Book Video” check box appears and the check box is pre-selected.

If the video is too wide or spans across the fold, that option disappears and the video will play in a separate window or tab (depending on the user’s preferences).
A video that “could” play within the book, can optionally be opened in a separate window/tab also.
For this simply un-check the box.

After the browse icon!! button is clicked, a movie can be selected in the opening File Explorer / Finder window; and accepted with “Open”.
