If a multilingual book was created, there must be a way to select the language. The language code, i.e. the two letters of the country code, is displayed by default. So no settings have to be made and still a language switching is supported.

This example shows is a bilingual book with EN and DE as languages!
Because the color of the listed language codes is grey, there are no language icons defined. In this case the language code would be displayed as text.

Icons can be used instead of the two letters. Those Icons can be graphically designed letters for the country code or flags! To set icons, click on the Button. This opens a window where the definitions can be made.

In this example, cons have been assigned for the English language code. For the German language the characters “DE” are displayed.
The language code for the non-selected (inactive) DE language is selected and can be replaced by an icon in clicking the@Add icon@button.
An icon (e.g., a flag icon) is selected via the file explorer and after it is opened in the file explorer it is loaded.

save or back close the window and open the Javascript Setting window again. The status now shows that icons are set for both languages and that three link buttons have been defined.
The window can be closed with Close.
