Actually, 3 different workflows cor building a new Mz3 Book from scratch are demonstrated.
All use standard settings to achieve quick results.
- from PDF:
Convert a PDF file and use the created “page images” as pages for a new Mz3 Book
- from Images created with a design tool
Create an empty Mz3 Book of the correct size and number of pages and fill it with prepared images (JPG/PNG) that have been exported from a Tool like InDesign (or Word or Corel or Quark or …)
- from Photos
Build a photo book from scratch in setting page number and page size for a new Mz3 Book and then import a bunch of collected photos, arranging them automatically on “layout positions” on pages.
Such quickly created books can be fine tuned in next steps, e.g.:
- Add Pages
See the chapter Delete or Insert Pages
- Exchange Pages
Load another PDF file (new Version, selected different pages, other language) or select additional/new/different page images
- Quality Settings
Change/improve the quality of Page Images created by a PDF Conversion.
Pixel resolution, page Size, JPG quality, and other parameters can be adjusted
Convert a Pdf (again) to change settings
- Change Page Format
It is possible changing width/height and aspect ratio, as well as the kind of pages: Single or double page book.
See Basic Settings to change such parameters
- Add Book Background Image
It is possible adding a Book Background, i.e. the background of the book’s container (window).
- “Add Elements to Pages”
Elements, i.e. images, video, sound or links can be added to selected pages; see Add Elements
- Add Language
See Language Selection
- Add content in a different language
See Use other PDF
If the language code (like “en”, “de” or “es”) is part of the file name (i.e. following the guidelines where the last 3 characters should be an underscore “_” followed by the language code, e.g. like “_de” as in “myPhotos_es.pdf”), all is done automatically. Alternatively you can enter the new language code when selecting a new PDF; or later using the language selection option.
