After a click on File – New in the main menu
a window opens where you can set the page (width/height) and book parameters (page count, single/double page book).
Set the page size based on the answers on the question you gave during the preparation.
Determine the number of images (or pages) and the type of book.
In case of a double page book, it is easier entering an image count; mz3Tool will do the math for you and calculate the needed number of single pages.
You always can (add or delete pages) later.
The final decision you have to make before starting is: What name should I use?
For a first quick test, you can accept the proposed name, which is based on date and time.
Otherwise, you can use whatever you want, as long as the name has more than 4 characters.
It is a good idea using something that clearly defines the content, like ‘vacation_2001-2001’.
Where ‘lc’ is the 2-letter code of the language, like ‘en’ (English), ‘de’ (German), ‘it’ (Italian) or ‘es’ (Spanish).
Those two letters build the ‘lc’ language code and must be the last two characters in the name (before the file extension), and separated from the leading name by an underscore “_”
