JS specific audio parameters

The Javascript version supports less “bells and whistles” than the mz3Viewer version. A play/pause button or the standard toolbar of the browser can be used instead.
3 different buttons can be selected:

  • The button labeled “Icon” is a picture;
  • the other two are based on special characters of the “fontawesome font”.
    The Icon can be exchanged and replaced.

If you ever modified HTML output with CSS, this also can be done in the Javascript version. With appropriate selectors e.g. the shape of the button (like square or oval instead of round) or the color can be adjusted

Currently, there are 2 parameters available:

  • loop
    If the checkmark is set, the audio will play again when the end has been reached.
  • autoplay
    If activated the sound starts as soon as the page with the sound is opened.
    With a page flip the sound stops and starts playing when the page is opened again.
    You can also pause and resume with another click of the Play/Pause button.

If the Javascript version was selected in the menu Commands – Publish/Distribute, which is the default setting, then the sound selection window displays the type of the selected Play/Pause button.
a click on that button or the cogwheel will open the “Sound Parameter Window”, where it can be changed.
The status of the two parameters “loop: lp” and “autoplay: ap” is also displayed and can be changed in place.

All parameter settings and the graphical representation of the fade modes (when paging) should be self-explanatory.
More details can be found in the Wiki.

The default values should produce acceptable results in most cases.
