JS specific book parameters

Actually, there is one parameter that is only supported in the Javascript version:

  • jsLanguageToggle
If set to true, only one language icon will be displayed and a click will advance to the next available language.
Advantage: This will save some space, especially if many languages are used in the book.
If this parameter is set to “false” (default setting), all language abbreviations or language icons are displayed and can be clicked individually to start open the book in the corresponding language.

Book Parameters

All parameters are categorized and grouped by “priority”.

  • “1”: Parameters that are frequently used.
  • “2”: These parameters are used less frequently
  • “3…5”: if available: should only be changed with the appropriate knowledge and in case of real needs.

General information

The following options are available for limiting/reducing/ searching:

If characters are entered, the list is immediately reduced to match only those parameters containing the entered characters.

Each parameter is assigned to a parameter group. Similar parameters or logically related parameters are summarized in a group.
Parameters can also belong to different groups.

Sort by
All columns can be sorted with a click into the header of the respective column. The next click reverses the sort order.
Default: Sort by “rank” to show the most important, most used parameters first.

The following information (column headers) are displayed in the columns of the list.
After opening, the list is sorted by “rank” (priority, “utility”). A value of “1” indicates the most commonly used parameters.

The name of the parameter/attribute can be found in this column

The set value is displayed in the “value” column. If the field is empty, the default settings are used.

def (default)
The “default value” is the default value of the parameter. If no other value is entered (i.e., the cell is empty), this default value is used. You can set a different value via the input option. If you delete the value, the default value is used again.,

“type” determines the type of parameter value. Examples: integer, float, percent, color, selection list, …

Each value is defined and described in the wiki.
