With every PDF conversion a search index file (PDF- text file) is created automatically; as long as the default setting of the checkbox is not changed.
This file will be adjusted and saved as mobile-version_lc.txt Mz3 Text File, and can be used for SEO and Search.
If necessary the files can be edited to make corrections.
For example keyword that are broken at the end of lines cannot be found with a search and a hyphenation can be adjusted.
The fastest way is making use of the special Edit Symbol in the Add SEO Or Search Text Window
Mz3 Text Files resulting from PDF Text files and manually created Mz3 text files differ slightly: The page break characters/markers are different
- Mz3 Text File as result from a PDF Conversion
In these files a form feed character indicates a new page (new page number).
- Mz3 Text File based on a template created by mz3
In these Mz3 Text Files a special marker #p is used to mark a page break.
Such a file is automatically created whenever Add SEO or Search Text is clicked and no other Mz3 Text File for the actual language is found.
Check chapter SEO and Search – Empty Template Text and HTML Files for an example of such a file.
